Tomer Saban

Tomer Saban

CEO and Co-Founder

Tomer brings with him 15 years of experience in telecommunications and network security. Prior to founding WireX Systems, Tomer served as a team manager in the intelligence division at Nice Systems. Tomer is an alumnus of the 8200 Entrepreneurship Program and the Merage Institute for U.S. – Israel Innovation Leadership Program. Tomer holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the College of Management Institute in Israel.

Gilboa Davara

Gilboa Davara

CTO and Co-Founder

Gilboa brings with him over 15 years of industry experience developing multi-platform kernel modules designed for high-performance and high-availability environments. Prior to founding WireX Systems, Gilboa served as a team leader in the Intelligence Division at Nice Systems. Gilboa has unique hands-on experience developing high-speed software-based IP probes and in-depth understanding of OS optimizations.

Vadim Lipovetsky

Vadim Lipovetsky

VP R&D and Co-Founder

Vadim brings with him 15 years of software development experience. Vadim is an expert in reverse engineering of network protocols, web technologies and cross platform development in performance intensive environments. Prior to founding WireX Systems Vadim led the development of the Nice Systems IP network analysis platform. Vadim holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Tel Hai Academic College.

Ili Cohen

Ili Cohen

Managing Partner at Magma Venture Partners

Ili Cohen brings a long track record of hands-on investment and M&A execution, from growth strategy planning to deal execution. He has led over $1B worth of acquisitions, investments and growth initiatives.
Ili is a partner at leading Israeli fund Magma VC and a Managing Director at Israeli investment banking and growth strategy firm Synergy Capital.
Previously, Ili headed Corporate M&A and Strategy for some of Israel’s leading technology firms, Comverse Technology (NASDAQ: CMVT) and Gilat Satellite Networks (NASDAQ: GILT).
Prior to that, Ili worked in strategy consulting with a number of local and global Fortune 500 firms, including Coca Cola and Monsanto in the US, as well as Teva Pharmaceuticals, Pelephone, Tower Semiconductor and some of the leading financial services firms in Israel.

Ken Levine

Ken Levine

Cybersecurity Entrepreneur and Private Investor

Ken is security executive veteran with vast experience in scaling startups and early stage companies. Ken was CEO of NitroSecurity, a SIEM platform, for five years before a successful acquisition by McAfee in 2011. At McAfee, Ken was SVP and GM of the security management business unit. After two years at McAfee, Ken became CEO of Digital Guardian. Under Ken’s leadership, Digital Guardian tripled in size, rebranded, entered adjacent markets and became a leader in the DLP and EDR markets. Ken’s DNA is in start-ups and early stage companies goes back to a 15 year tenure at Cabletron Systems, a networking company started by his brother in a garage that became a billion-dollar company. Ken’s passion is building great teams and companies, establishing GTM strategies with the best technology and products. In joining ShieldX, Ken is thrilled to help the elite founding team grow the company into a major security player.
Ken earned his undergraduate in economics from the Wharton School.

Mickey Boodaei

Mickey Boodaei

Cybersecurity Entrepreneur and Private Investor

Mr. Boodaei is a cybersecurity entrepreneur and private investor. In 2002 Mickey co-founded Imperva the leader in Web and database security, where he held the positions of Vice President of EMEA sales and Vice President of Product Management and Technical Services. In 2007 Mickey founded Trusteer, a fraud prevention company. Mickey served as Trusteer’s CEO until it was acquired by IBM in 2013. Since 2008 Mickey has successfully invested in various cybersecurity startups including Skyfence (acquired by Imperva), Aorato (acquired by Microsoft), Hyperwise (acquired by Check Point), Lacoon (acquired by Check Point) and Watchdox (acquired by Blackberry).

Emanuel Timor

Emanuel Timor

General Partner at Vertex Venture Capital

Mr. Timor is a General Partner at Vertex Venture Capital Israel. Emanuel joined Vertex in 1998 and has nearly twenty years of experience working closely with startups and emerging technology companies throughout their lifecycle. Among his most recent successes, was an investment in Percello, a femtocell company, acquired by Broadcom. Prior to joining Vertex, Mr. Timor was an articled apprentice at an Israeli law firm where he acquired expertise in IPOs and M&A. From 1992 to 1997, Mr. Timor was one of the leading financial journalists for Globes, Israel`s daily business newspaper. Mr. Timor has a B.A. in Economics and an LL.B from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
